We are proud to present glart (Glass + Art), an extraordinary portable art object handcrafted in Japan by the master leatherworkers at Waji. Fusing vintage-inspired stained glass with supple Basque leather, this M5 organizer cover is the result of over a year and a half of uncompromising design and artisan devotion.

Unlike conventional stationery, glart balances vintage warmth with structural brilliance:

• Heritage Real Glass: Created in partnership with Tomi Glass—a maker with over 70 years of expertise—the glass front is specially tempered for durability. Its subtle surface texture and carefully tuned color palette reproduce the depth and patina of antique stained glass.
  

• Hand-Waxed Basque Leather: The exterior utilizes Japanese Basque leather, a hybrid vegetable- and chrome-tanned hide. Artisans hand-apply natural waxes one sheet at a time, creating subtle tonal variations that evolve into a deep, personalized patina over time.

Each size features a completely different door design and glass shape, ensuring that whether you choose the palm-sized M5 or the substantial Bible size, your journal possesses its own exclusive, one-of-a-kind presence.
